Jacob william Edwards foundation athletic scholarship award

Thank you for your interest in the Jacob William Edwards Foundation Athletic Scholarship Award.  Annually, the Jacob William Edwards Foundation awards deserving seniors with a $1,000 academic scholarship.  The Foundation will award high school seniors graduating from Hightower High School in the Fort Bend Independent School District with plans to go to college.  

Please read and follow all instructions carefully to be considered.

Qualifications for Application

• Graduate from Hightower High School by June 15, 2025
• Member of the 2024-25 Hightower Baseball or Softball team
• Use the scholarship within a one-year period
• Attend an accredited non-profit college or university
• Provide evidence of admission to a post-secondary college or university, including, but not limited to, a junior or community college, in the United States or a United States territory, as well as acceptance of that admission
• Complete and submit the application along with Official High School Transcript and one adult recommendation by the deadline, including one from the baseball or softball coach and one from either a teacher or community member

The completed application must be submitted to info@jacoblives.org no later than May 10, 2025.
