Our Programs

Jacob enjoyed reading to PK-2 grade students as a middle and high school student volunteer.  The Jacob William Edwards Foundation adopts local elementary schools each year in partnership with the AVID program Hightower High School.  We provide at least three (3) books per student in the Kindergarten classrooms and support the AVID student volunteers with a volunteer set to promote reading in the classroom and home settings.

Jacob was a natural athlete and played his preferred sport of baseball from the age of 3 through his high school career.  The Jacob William Edwards Foundation provides annual scholarships to high school seniors who play varsity baseball and softball who are seeking to further their academic studies at a 2-year or 4-year institution of higher learning.  The 3rd Annual Jacob William Edwards Foundation Athletic Scholarship cohort will be awarded on June 10, 2023 at the Golf Tournament to students who attend his alma mater, Hightower High School in Fresno, Texas.
